SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT

Event 2 – “Attending CERME14”

(Monday, January 20, 2025 – (13:00-16:30 CET) )

YERME is happy to invite Early Career Researchers (PhD students, post-docs) in mathematics education who plan to attend CERME14 (Bozen-Bolzano Italy, 2025) to take part in the pre-CERME14 events.

The pre-CERME14 events provide an opportunity to prepare for the congress with different tasks of applying, submitting, and participating in CERME14. In addition, it constitutes an important opportunity for meeting and networking with Early Career Researchers from other countries. The events will be especially useful to first-time CERME participants.

Programme
The program for the pre-CERME14 events for Early Career Researchers in ERME consists of two online events. Event 1 had already taken place on June 20th, 2024. Event 2 will address different aspects related to the congress:

EVENT 2: Monday, January 20^th, 2025, (13:00-16:30): “Attending CERME14”

Time slot 13:00 – 13.30

1. Which activities are included in the CERME14 program and what to expect in the TWG sessions?
2. How to prepare for TWG sessions: What is good to know?

Time slot 14:30 – 15:00 Break

Time slot 15:00 – 16:30

3. Professional Conversations (within TWG sessions):
   How to prepare for TWG sessions conversations and discussions?
4. Professional Conversations (outside TWG sessions):
   How How to initiate, benefit from, and enjoy?

Pre-CERME14 event is free of charge. An attendance certificate can be released on
