Paper & Poster Submission

CERME14 uses an electronic submission system managed by ConfTool.

Authors are permitted to submit just one paper or one poster as the main (corresponding or presenting) author.

The paper and the poster template of CERME14 can be downloaded here.

The maximum length for a paper submission is eight pages, including references, figures and appendices. For a poster proposal, the maximum length is two pages. Submissions that do not follow the template in full, or exceed the length limitations will not enter the review process.

Submissions that do not follow the template will not be accepted and excluded from the review process.

Submission of Papers

Authors submit the initial version of their 8-page paper on CERME 14 Conftool Submission System (uploading it as both a Word file (.doc or .docx) and a PDF file (.pdf), and titled using the following format: AuthorName_TWGXX.doc). The TWG Leader will organize an internal review in the TWG. If accepted, the final version of the papers will be directly submitted by the authors on the submission website.

Deadlines are as follows:

  • Initial submission via the CERME14 ConfTool Submission System: from 1st July 2024 to 15th September 2024.
  • The TWG Leaders send an email to the authors via ConfTool to inform them about the review decision (acceptance or rejection), status of their submission and revisions requested by 28th October 2024 and, if needed, discusses with them the final adjustments to the papers.
  • In case of acceptance, the authors upload the final version of their proposal to ConfTool by 10th December 2024.
  • Young researchers (those who study in a Master or PhD Program or completed their doctoral study in February 2022 or later) are encouraged to enter their paper that is accepted for the conference for the ERME Paper Award. E-mail send to Zelha Tunc Pekkan, zelha.t.pekkan@uia.no. To do so, please inform the Chair of the Paper Award Committee, including the title of your paper that is accepted for the conference, the names of the authors, and the number of your TWG.
  • The TWG team takes the final decision and informs the authors by 20th January 2025

Submission of Posters

Authors submit a proposal for the poster (two pages, format presented below) is submitted either as .doc or .docx on the CERME14 ConfTool submission System. The TWG Leader organizes an internal review in the TWG. If the poster proposal is accepted, then the author(s) brings a hard copy of the printed poster to the conference.

Deadlines are as follows:

  • Initial submission by authors of a two-page proposal via the CERME14 ConfTool Submission System: from 1st July 2024 to 15th September 2024.
  • The TWG team makes the final decision (acceptance or rejection) and informs the authors by 28th October 2024, and, if needed, discusses with them the final adjustments to the poster.
  • The authors submit the final version of their two-page proposal to ConfTool by 10th December 2024.
  • Authors are encouraged to enter their poster for the ERME Poster Award. E-mail sent to Eirini Geraniou, e.geraniou@ucl.ac.uk, including the title of your poster, the names of the authors, and the number of your TWG. You must submit an electronic copy of your final poster (not the poster proposal) by 20th January 2025.

 

Template for Papers and Poster Proposals

Please ensure you read the Guidelines for Authors which details the process for both paper and poster submissions. For your convenience, and also in order to achieve a uniform appearance for all CERME14 papers, we provide a template for your document.

Remember that submissions not following the template will be excluded from the review process.
